How much does a DJ cost?

Parties can start from $490. However, there are a number of variables involved that are likely to alter the price. The night of the week your function is on, function type, where it is, whether you request the DJ to do overtime and whether you require additional equipment, are factors that can significantly change the price. Request a quote for your event.

What are my payment options?

Bank transfer is the most popular method of payment. Alternate methods of payment can be arranged.

How do I pre-select the music for my party?

Upon request we will email you an easy to follow song list. It will be split into genres, as shown on our music list page. Then all you need to do is highlight some favorite songs and we'll make sure they get played at your event. If you want any songs that are not on the lists, simply let us know and we'll get them.

Do I have to pre-select the music?

Certainly not! Feel free to leave the song choice up to us. Our experienced DJs know how to read the crowd, know what songs get people up and dancing and will be responsive to any requests that your guests make on the night. We’ve found that it can really brighten up a party when guests hear songs that they know and can sing along to, so we recommend pre-selecting from our music lists but it’s your call!

How do I book a DJ for my next event?

The simplest way to make a booking is to call us on 0402 083 596. However if you prefer, you can make an online booking.

Can we extend our time on the night?

Yes, all Top Shelf DJs are available to play overtime. The overtime rate will need to be paid to the DJ on the night, before the overtime begins.
